Cards, Cards, Cards
I received another order from a good friend of mine - she needed a graduation card (you are seeing a Birthday sample - hers is drying :), a teenage boy birthday card and a feminine birthday card. My bedspread matches the colors beautifully! You get to see the one from many angles LOL
These are the cards (and yes I did CaSE :)
I finally broke out my Papertrey sets - I had been scared to use them - but they are SO much fun!! They do take a little practice and I am not sure if SU ink is the best with them but practice makes perfect! For the Butterfly Kisses card I used Bravo Burgundy, Pretty in Pink, Always Artichoke (I actually just write Avocado) time to go home! I also used my new pens - Pigma Micron by Sakura I found out about from Craft Critique.
For the flower card I used the Green Thumb Papertrey set. I used Almost Amethyst, Pretty in Pink and Certainly Celery with Whisper White and Black cardstock and Certainly celery ribbon
Enjoy!!

Bonjour
Today's card challenge #WT110 was all about Orchid Opulence. You know that color that we all use - all the time -NOT! I guess that's why it was a challenge :). I wanted to use a set that I haven't used yet. Also covered an oval chipboard piece and did some embossing. It was a fun challenge! Only 1 more day and it's the weekend!!! Yeaahhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's been a looooong week- how about for you?

More Card Challenges
Here are the past two days card challenges. Tuesday's challenge was for the families affected by the Virginia Tech tragedy. We were to use the colors, ruby red, pumkin pie and always artichoke which are the colors of the school.
The second card is for Wednesday's sketch challenge #121 and I decided to make a more traditional Mother's Day Card. I realized I really liked paper piecing. Thanks for looking and hope your day is filled with happiness.

Purely Pomegranate - appears to be similar in color to magenta.
Wild Wasabi - a shade of green; Wasabi is a spicy Japanese plant, traditionally served with sushi.
Groovy Guava - two parts Apricot Appeal and one part Cameo Coral; GORGEOUS!
Blue Bayou - a medium blue along the lines of Brocade, Ballet and Buckaroo Blue.
River Rock - think beach sand. Lighter and brighter than Sahara Sand, this will be a beautiful complement to almost every color we have!

Lost - A Father's Day card
Today's Splitcoast Challenge was a Levi Tag TLC113. What is a Levi Tag you ask? It's that little tag that is sewn to your back pocket of your jeans with the brand name noted (ie. Levi's, Gap, etc.). Over the weekend, I've been looking for more masculine paper and then I came across this map.
The first thing that came to my mind was sitting in the back seat of the family car while my Dad drove aimlessly. Yes aimlessly, because he refused to admit he was LOST! You would assume asking for some directions would be a good idea - BUT NO! The standard answer "I know where we are" (in a cranky voice). I can so vividly remember looking at my sister and both of us rolling our eyes. I think many of us have experienced something similar, so this card is for all those Dads who refuse to admit they're lost! :)

Stamp Camp Card
I'm a DORK! I was working so hard to get this card finished for the last 3 days of Splitcoast Challenges. I finally get it done and went to take a picture and guess what - No camera! I gave the camera to my darling son today for a field trip. All this self imposed pressure - for nothing! That's why I am a DORK!
Anyway, I needed a card for tomorrow's camp. The card needed to be adaptable for Mom's or friends. While standing in line to get my coffee from Starbucks, all I kept on seeing is Doodle Art. That became my inspiration for this card. Happy Friday!!!

Teachers Rock!
Yesterday's Splitcoast Technique Challenge (TLC112) was a tri-fold card. Since we are approaching the end of the school year, I decided to put my Teachabella to work. I found this Bella a little difficult to color because the details are so tiny. The aquapainter worked best for me on this particular stamp. I think my DS's teacher will like this card. She's a really a "funky" and "hip" teacher and she does "Rock!"
Being a teacher, now that's a job!! It ranks right up there with the police and fire department in my book!
Thanks for looking and have a Bellarific Day!

I was working on a prototype for an upcoming Bella Swap. At first I wanted to do the sweet Flowah Bella. Then I started looking for some inspiration and found this fun paper and with a little computer help here's what I came up with.
Just an FYI - The Bellas now have Fellas. Check it out at www.stampingbella.com.

Well I am FINALLY posting these pixs - I finished these about 2 weeks ago and I mailed them off to my cousin and his wife. They welcomed their second child Benjamin Gardner Dillon on March 19th at 5:17pm pst (I have it memorized LOL). I made 80 baby announcements for them using SU's Bundle of Joy set.
