A cool tip for the 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon

I came across this cool tip on Patty's Stamping Spot blog - I am definitely going to try this on on my next cards. It's a great way to wrap the card without stressing over cutting a hole ;)

August Stamp Camp/Club

This past Saturday was Stamp Camp. We moved to a new location - my own building! We had it in a conference room which is located right off the Internet area. My building has some nice amenities :)

There was a nice built in shelf along the back that I used to display my cards and a few coasters that I have made.

We started our 1st Stamp Club which will coincides with Stamp Camp
(Mary's idea :)

So there are 5 of us in the club. These girls come and make the cards along with the other stampers but their fee is waived since they are placing an order each month. Pam is our 1st Hostess so she was able to choose one 1st level Hostess stamp set and $15 of free merchandise. Zena (who was not able to make the 1st Club/Camp will be next months' Hostess, Irene will be 3rd, Pam (or her 2nd stamping buddy lol) will be 4th and I will be 5th.

Here is Pam (past SU demo) and her daughter-in-law Kim

Bonnie & Jenn (past students from artScape)

We made 4 cards:

I introduced the Punch a Bunch promotion (Stampin' Up!'s August special) which ends August 31st. The Three for You Punch Box includes:
  • the exclusive Trio Flower punch,
  • a coordinating 9-piece die cut Three for You stamp set,
  • and three Stampin' Spots in Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi, and Basic Black.
But there's even more to love. During August, SU is throwing in an exclusive package of 30 textured Love Notes (a $12.95 value) free when you purchase the Three for You Punch Box! Create Purely Pomegranate, So Saffron, and Wild Wasabi notes and other on-the-go projects using the Three for You Punch Box.

We made a Garden Whimsy card

Emily's Invites

Okay so I haven't been on here in ages - between stamp camps, classes, a craft event and other stuff I needed a bit of a break - however.... I am helping to host a 10 year old B-I-R-T-H-D-A-Y P-A-R-T-Y for my friend's daughter and her 5 friends in a few weeks and of course I had to make the party invites LOL

So here is what I have thus far but it is still in progress ;)
